Got a Car, and talking about VR
Since the last time I updated the blog, I've gotten a Meta Quest 3 and a car. I love the Quest 3 and how much better the quality is over the Quest 2. Steam has also released Steam Link for Meta Platforms, which replaces AirLink from Meta. So far, the latency has been lower than AirLink by a noticeable level. I want to learn more about developing games for VR so I can get involved. I picture a lot of our technology will be based on mixed/virtual reality in more ways than you may think. I want to create a category page where I can create multiple vlogs about things I think about and the things that I enjoy.
Talking about Ads
I have made a decision that i have weighed in my head for a while. I hate ads and so do you. However, as a co-worker at work and I had discussed, the industry with the most trade is Data/Analytics. That makes advertisements a powerful revenue generator if utilized properly. I am experimenting with them. I am Hoping to fine tune them to prevent pain in the User Experience. I am also setting up the ability for companies to purchase ad space directly from my branded sites. I will continue to market my services and will give customers the best exxperience possible!
Project Page
Whilst developing the new project page, showing my templates and entrepenurial efforts, I created a new navbar with enhanced animation and modern design elements. I believe this will make the site seem more lively and integrated. This definitely helps tie together the application theme I have been going for. The Header on the new page is in light mode with the project cards being dark to help my content stand out.
Learnings Pt.2
This week I was able to complete over 25+ hours of learning courses on LinkedIn Learning. This has allowed me to help develop knowledge and proficiency in Human Resources, Management, and Business Operations. I strive to add to my knowledge constantly and consistently. I've set guidelines for myselff in regards to my collection and usage of knowledge toward the betterment of my future, I will stick to them. I want to give my employer and future employers the best of what I have to offer.
Learnings
Furthering knowledge is one of my highest priorities as I continue to grow on my career path. I have started accredited LinkedIn and Coursera courses to obtain certifications that support my career path.
